Sergio coordinated the project, made valuable suggestions that I would not have thought of on my own, and was entirely responsive to my needs. Sergio communicated with me very well via text, calls and in person. The crew came to the front door often with questions when I wasn’t always presentable. Juan and Raul listened and did all they could to provide what I wanted.
There was one incident on the very first day when they crashed into our swing set. But in a couple of days they had a new, stained to match wood beam and replaced the broken one.
They created the main patio, made the under the deck area a usable space to match the patio and a small flagstone and gravel walkway. read less

He did a great job and explaining the process and the reasons behind every step. Juan was the team lead once the project began, him and the crew were very profesional, always on time and everyone was very hard working and fast. The yard turned out better than expected and we will definitely use them again for our future Landscaping projects. read less

They were WONDERFUL to work with. Juan and his crew are experts...kind and knowledgeable. They were a joy to work with. Juan is a craftsman of the highest quality, who truly cares about his craft. I had zero worries about my fence being constructed “right,” because I watched Juan work...and it was completely evident how much he cares and how skilled he is. They did multiple jobs for me...a total yard clear out (it was a jungle!), help improving a big rock bed for irrigation, and a fence with three gates for our backyard. They were efficient, had great communication, and were extremely hard working. At one point, Juan wasn’t pleased with the materials we’d chosen for the fence, concerned it wouldn’t last and be safe enough for my kids, so on his own he went and looked at other options...sent me pictures and helped me choose a beautiful and long-standing fence option...absolutely better than the first option. That is a man who cares about his product and other people!
Sergio on the business/scheduling side of things was wonderful to work with and always quick to reply. I’ve hired about 10 vendors through Thumbtack, and Torres Family were by far our favorite. I’ll be recommending this company to everyone and hope to work with them again sometime. read less

They put in a grill pad/mini patio for me and I’m thrilled with how it turned out! It was previously a pile of dirt! We had a slight rain delay, because Mother Nature, but once dried out, the crew was prompt, friendly, informative, and did a great job. I would highly recommend. I have tried to work with many other landscaping companies in the past, and most of them just stop responding. Torres kept me in the loop as to when they were coming out for an estimate, when to expect the estimate, and when they would be able to start the job. They went above and beyond with one of our projects which was replacing a small tree. The shrub that was chosen to replace it was not available in the area. They company drove to a nursery that was over 30 miles away just to find the exact shrub we wanted for the replacement. Most other landscaping companies would have just place "something similar" in place. I will be using Torres again for future landscaping projects! read less
